'Shakti' shifted to summer

NTR’s Shakti was originally planned for December release this year. Later it was announced that the movie would hit the screens for Sankranthi. But sources told us it backs from the pongal poti. As the film’s shooting schedule has got delayed and new elements added, producer Ashwini Dutt has decided to release it in the summer. Shakti would be readied by February but the producer wants to release it only after the Cricket World Cup ends. So it will be releasing on March 28.

Shakti has huge star cast and is shot on various locations in the world including Rajasthan, Manali, Turkey, and America. Ileana is the heroine while Manjari has been chosen for the second heroine role. Pooja Bedi and Jackie are playing other prominent roles. Manisharma provides the music.
